Cannot relaunch Lr after having updated it to 10.6.1

It was the first time I tried to install an update after having purchased the product as a single license in November 2015.

After the update was finished (I assume it was done) it was impossible to relaunch Lr.

Having contacted by chat the support group twice It is still not running.

I have now uninstalled it and are trying to re-instal it (I have my key)

Every time I am redirected to the Adobe site were they try to sell you the plan with monthly payments. Lr is not in the list as choice for download. I would like to try to purchase a trial version and put my key in but that is not working either

I am desperate, I am also very disappointed about the service provided by Adobe

That 10.6.1 is what? Your OS? As LR is only at version 6.x.x.

Please state the exact version of the OS you are using and the Exact version of LR you are trying to install.

6.10.1 is the Lr version I was referring to.

OK then what EXACT Operating system is your computer running?

Windows 7 Home edition.

The main reason why I need this upgrade is because the present version is not recognising ORF extension files from Olympus

Did you look at the link I provided to serialize LR CC, IE use a serial number, to make it LR 6?

As I mentioned in my opening message I can not run Lr.

I uninstalled it, and reinstalled the original version 6. from my order form.

After this I can still not launch it, as consequence I cannot perform the procedure you suggested
