Elements 15: How to save edited clips in timeline for later use

Hi there. I am a new Premiere Elements 15 user. I have edited a number of clips into my timeline. I now want to effectively create 3 separate videos from my timeline. However, I cannot seem to find a way to save these edited clips. They are not in the project box, as the project box only shows the full length unedited clip.

I cannot seem to copy/paste or drag the clip to the project box for later use. Can someone please advise me? Thank you !

You have to export it using the share option:

Use Expert mode.

Thank you so much. I thought there might have been an easier way. For example: it would have been nice if I could just drag the already edited clips into the project box for use in next video.

The Work Area Bar is something I had not even really noticed. Although it is not as feature rich as in the Pro edition, it certainly came in handy and it's nice that I now understand a little about it.

Sure is a steep learning curve learning video editing.

There is an excellent comprehensive course covering Premier Elements 15 on Lynda.com.  It will significantly flatten your learning curve.

PAUL:

I wanted to do the same thing... just save your project file (xxx.prel) under a new name for each of your three new videos. You can then go back to your original version... select and copy the clip you want... then open the new project and past it into the timeline. It's easier (and saves disk space) than exporting the whole clip. GOOD LUCK.
