I suspect you have that same "D810RAW" folder on 2 different drives. One was where images where imported from and the other is where images actually are. You may of moved them accidentally.
Right click on the folder in LR and select Show in Finder to see where LR is looking. Is it on that same drive as you have displayed in the finder window in your screen shot, "My Book Duo"?

Right-click on folders with a ? (question mark) and choose “Update Folder Location”
Then navigate to where the folder has been moved and select it.

And every folder has a question mark. That is basically what I was talking about when I said you have 2 folders with the same name.

First, Lightroom is not a file browser like Mac Finder or WIndows Explorer. It does not show you the photos in a given folder. It will only show you photos in a folder that have been imported, and which have been imported or moved into that folder. If you import the photos from that folder into some other folder, then Lightroom will only show you the photos in the other folder; and it will not show you the photos in the original folder.
What has most likely happened is that you have (accidentally?) imported the photos using the COPY option, and so a copy was made in some other folder, and that is the place where Lightroom thinks the photos are located. If that is what has happened, importing or synchronizing the folder will not solver the problem. You need to search Lightroom for the photos. Please follow all four of these steps:
1. In the Lightroom Library Module, on the left, under Catalog, click on All Photographs
2. Turn off all filters (Ctrl-L once or twice)
3. Turn off all stacking (Photo->Stacking->Expand All Stacks)
4. Search for at least one of these photos by file name using the Lightroom Filter Bar
