Animating Still Photos

I’m having trouble animating one still photo, after importing the photo that I want to animate using masks; I run through the time line and all the photos in the file save to my computer (even the ones I did not import) start play like a stop motion. How do I use only one photo for my composition?

Turn off the "Sequence" option in the import dialog. Read the help. Basics.
