Graduated Filter in LR

When I try to use the graduated filter in the Develop Module, the 3 lines no longer show up.  Instead I get a very, very large area that tries to act as the graduated filter does, but with no way to control the size or where it goes.  It's probably something simple, but I've tried several things and nothing seems to work.

If it helps, I'm using Creative Cloud, the latest version, and Windows 10 PC.

Thanks for answering this for me.

Thanks to all of you.  Just hit the H key.  I thought it was something simple--just couldn't come up with it myself.

As Bob says- "H" key to show/hide the lines.

I think Jim means - press the letter "O" to hide/reveal the filter mask/Overlay.  (Shift+O  changes the 'mask' Overlay color)

You can control the visibility of the edit pins (and guide lines) for the graduated filter using the Edit Pins pop-up menu in the toolbar, if you have the toolbar showing (View > Show/Hide Toolbar or press T).

The H shortcut toggles the Edit Pins setting between Always and Never.
