OCR multi page page PDF with embedded image documets

I'd like to know if the Adobe OCR product can read multi page PDF documents with embedded images and create searchable text that can be scanned through code for specific key words. The application would run on a server as a process. Does Adobe provide this type of functionality as an SDK?

You can't use Adobe Acrobat on a server.
