Does keywords (in document properties) help optimise index for pdf?

I have to create an index for 155 pdf files. All files are interlinked. In the document properties there is an option of KEYWORDS. Do is help optimise search index?

For example, I have to search for a manual XY Plotting. When I enter XY plotting, the result appears 4th instead of first. Now I have observed, the search results appear according to the volume of the content entered. So the guides where XY plotting is written multiple times in some other document, it searches that first.
