Hallo i have the latest version of Lightroom and it's running under Mac os sierra. And i have problems with import and export. If it put a card into the reader the import window doesn't start by itself. If i start it by hand it is the following situation
The pictures are at the SD Card Untitled but Lightroom shows Boot OS X. If i click "import" Lightroom says they are write protected. So i have to go to Untiled and in the right subfolder to import. After the Import the SD card is not ejected.
I have deinstalled Lightroom and new installed but the problem is the same.
The problem by exporting fotos ist, that Lightroom doesn't remember to the last exporting folder. Every time it wants to export in the same folder indifferent whre the last picture was exported.
I hope you can help me.
Thomas
The latest version of Lightroom on a Mac has had issues with recognizing SD cards and may not open the import dialog automatically.
The fact that your SD card is untitled tells me that you do not format it in the camera which will give it a title and identify it as a camera card. Try formatting it in the camera and take a few test shots to see if Lightroom recognizes it as an SD card when you manually click on Import.

Hi Thomas,
As you are not able to import and export images correctly, could you please let us which version of Lightroom are you using and on which operating system?
Please make sure that you have checked "Show import dialog when a memory card is detected' in Lightroom's preferences > general.
Please let us know if it helps with the import dialog issue.
Regards,
Sahil

Thank you for providing the information Thomas, could you try using a different card or a card reader?

I tried it with a separate CF Card Reader and also with the built-in SD Card reader. The result is the same.
