Can't place a shape in the iOS app

Hi,

I've downloaded the the Illustrator Draw for iOS (iPhone 7Plus) and having problem placing a shape. It says I have to double tap, but nothing happens after I do, the shape is still gray, and in the transform mode.

I've also have the app on my G-Pad android device, where it's working perfectly, the only drawback is that androind app isn't app to date with iOS, but that's another issue.

Did anyone encountered this issue on iOS, or on iPhone in specific?

The only thing I can think of.... You don't, by any chance, have the eraser selected instead of a brush do you?
