So I've created an animation that supposed to go for around 7 minutes (I've timed it) but when I export it or try to do anything with it, the audio becomes all over lapped (I have several audio files with me talking in them as well as others) and the animation is slightly faster and out of time as it goes for around 6 minutes (the exported version).
The file is quite large - 99.4 MB - so I may have to just make it smaller.
Any suggestions on what to do in order to export it so that it turns out the intended way?
(sorry if this was badly worded).
If you are making an animation that is going to be video, make sure you're using an AS3 FLA and not a Canvas FLA. If you are using AS3 you can set the sounds in the timeline to be Stream sync instead of Event. Once you have done that you can get the animation to time to the sound much easier, even scrubbing the timeline will let you hear the sound at that point.

Which file format your exporting to?
I think it could be the fps issue. If your exporting video from Animate CC trying export using File > Export > Export video > check the option to export using Media encoder.

How do I know whether I'm using AS3 FLA or Canvas FLA? Is there a way to check?

In the title of the window it will say the name of your file, and if it's Canvas it has (Canvas) after the name.

It is in AS3, however I had my audio on 'event' instead of 'stream' so I'll have to go through and change them all but hopefully that will work. Thank you!
