Hello!
I am trying to edit photos between Lightroom and Photoshop, and then export the results to folder that is sitting on a windows laptop that is connected via Samba. however, I am noticing that whenever I have connected via samba to the windows machine, I am unable to export from Lightroom to Photoshop via "edit in".
Once I kill the connection by unmounting the samba drive, the "edit in" works fine again.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
My suggestion is to not try to use the samba drive. Unless you can figure out how to integrate the system, I don't believe that type of integration is written into the Lightroom software at this time. That is just my own observation, I have no connection with Adobe.

Why are you using SAMBA? Doesn't OS X have a built in system to connect to Windows shares? At least it did in the versions of OS X I used on the Mac I owned, several years ago, and the Virtual Machines of 3 different OS X versions I have on my Win 7 PC.
