Hi,

Would you browse the file of the path below and add your name of your graphic card manually? Please do not forget to reboot your After Effects after you edit the file.

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CC 2015.3\Support Files\raytracer_supported_cards.txt?

Yes I am able to find out my Nvidia graphic card in the above mentioned location

In Ray tracing :a)When CPU is selected ,OpenGL shows up my Nvidia card while CUDA is greyed out

b)When GPU is selected OpenGl and CUDA both shows up my Nvidia graphic card

1 question-I should select CPU or GPU in ray tracing?

2 question-Still in GPUSniffer,Intel graphic card is showing up in Renderer. Is it OK ?

Hi,

1. You set GPU (ray tracing) on and choose your graphic card. You apply some GPU accelerated effects in After Effects and check how faster the effects works.

2. I am not sure about the details of the specification of Sniffer. I do not know how Sniffer chooses the cards and sets them as primary or secondary. It would be better to talk to Adobe tech support.

Something else you should know: ray tracing in AE is essentially dead.  Adobe hasn't done a thing with it since they got C4D Lite, which renders a lot faster, anyways.
