Want to upgrade my mid 11 IMac now running 10.8.5 to latest OS

Intel cor I5

AMD Radeon HD 6750M

Adobe website says this will work

I use ID 5.5 now and have O problems. I have read the various questions on this forum about the crashing of ID when using the 10.12….

Once updated and new CC ID is installed does anyone see any problems?

I can use ID pretty good, am not a computer geek and would appreciate any help. Thanks

I've been running ID CC 2017 in a macbook pro mid 2012 with sierra and 8 gb ram is working very good, i don't think you should have any problems.

InDesign CS5.5 and CS6 are not supported by Adobe to run under El Capitan and Siera. Some report no problems, others do.

Yes I am aware of that, I am planning on updating to ID CC 2017. What I was asking was - is my hardware sufficient. Am also going to add another 8 0r 16 gigs memory.

Hi Mac352,

You got someone with similar configuration with a perfectly working program apart from the the system requirements for InDesign:

System requirements for Adobe InDesign CC for Mac and Windows OS . I believe you can proceed & should not have an issue. Adding RAM would assist as well.

Regards,

Om
