Sony A9 Raw cant be read by LR-cc

LR can't preview nor import RAW from A9 camera. Ironically, jpg files from this camera can be read and imported. The error says the file type is unsupported.  I can open Photoshop cc  and use Camera Raw to develop the raw files from Sony A9.  Lightroom CC appears to be up to date. or is it? Yet, my Sony A7 series RAW files read and import fine.

Cameras supported by Camera Raw

You need to be running LR CC 2015.10.1 to read Sony A9 Raw files.

Check which version you're running in LR via Help > System Info.
