My Lightroom Desktop stopped syncing with the cloud

I use the Lightroom Mobile app on both my iPhone and iPad.  i also use the web based Lightroom Web on occasion.  However I use Lightroom Desktop the most.  The other day it just stopped syncing on a project I'm working on and I cannot find a good answer that works for me in the forum.  I've noticed that the apps between my iPhone and iPad are syncing as well as the Lightroom Web version, however, the Desktop version is stuck.  I have the newest version of all apps.  Is there a way to reset the connection on the Desktop version to the cloud? I've checked all my connections on my iMac and I have a strong internet connection.  Any ideas?  Thanks you!
