So i just downloaded the free trial of lightroom. I was wondering, can you still edit, export photos even after the trial ends?

Thanks in advance for the answer/s.

Lightroom Queen says it still applies in the case of a trial version ending.

No... the program stops working when the trial ends

Once the trial expires, some functions are disabled in Lightroom e.g. Develop and Map module. But others will still work.

You basically get access to Lightroom Lite.

I don't believe this applies in the situation where the free trial ends. The link you give is specifically for the case that Lightroom has been subscribed to, money has been paid, real work has been performed in Lightroom, and then the subscription expires.

If you have never paid for Lightroom, and the free trial ends, I don't think Lightroom will function at all.

"If you have never paid for Lightroom, and the free trial ends, I don't think Lightroom will function at all." - is directly contradicted in the link John Waller gave in (2.) http://thedambook.com/lightroom-never-fully-expires/ : "You can download the trial version of Lightroom and, at the end of the trial period, it mostly continues to function. Free."

Can someone authoritatively confirm or deny?

This is wrong.

Lightroom will function. What you can't do is go into Develop, go into Map, or sync with Mobile.

The links provided refer specifically to the subscription ending, this is clearly stating in the wording at the link. It does not refer to the free trial ending, the ending of the free trial is not mentioned at those links.

The trial version is the subscription version, there isn't one for the perpetual licence version.
