I am having an issue where i have text with a character style and a paragraph style applied. in the paragraph style I have a GREP Style that take the .00 and apply a style that makes it superscript and apples a color. It does the superscript part but doesn't apply the fill color. if i add a stroke color it will update and apply that but i can't get it to apply the fill color. Anyone know what might be wrong?

This last one is the result. I can change the color of the stroke and it will change but the fill never changes not matter what color i set it to be

I replicate your GREP expression and your chatStyle and it worked here.
Do you have any other GREP style applied to this paraStyle?

No there is only one GREP. I am going to do some more testing.

If you want to share an IDML file with an example, I can check it too.

thank you for your help. I think i found it. I had a character style applied to the text area. I guess that overrides the style applied by the GREP in the paraStyle. I removed the character style and moved those to the paraStyle and it works now.
