problem with after effects

Hello , I have just updated my after effects software, but I can't make some important panels appear as " character and  effects & presets" .

Are you talking about errors with After Effects, or with something else?

I have not heard of anybody having issues with their workspaces like you are describing yet. Could you share some screenshots to demonstrate the problems you are experiencing?

thanks mate I have found finally, it was hiding all in the right. but some new issues I don't like

F9 does not work on mac to change some keyframes

You have to enter in System Preferences > Keyboard and activate an option that let the function keys to work as standard key functions.  This way, you can use F9 to change KF interpolation.
