I am using indesign cc 2017. I am getting Error 429 in using split story script. I tried using this script in different documents but this issue is still the same. What should I do?

Hi,

try SplitStory.jsx, that's the ExtendScript variant of that vbs script.
You'll find it in the JavaScript section of Samples.

Uwe

I have a script that splits the stories from the selected frame to the end.

If you can, take a try:
