In one of our graphics machine , from Adobe After Effects CS6, we are unable to render to Quicktime format. While rendering an error comes and the rendering operation is hanged. Then we have to restart the Adobe After Effects application once again.

The error showing is:

" After Effects error: Rendering error while writing to file " file location". Error accessing drive. The file may be damaged or corrupted. (-1610153457) ".

Tried several resolution methods, as seen in different websites, but issue not at all solved.

Please provide support.

Maybe try rendering it to the desk top in case you're running in to a protection issue on that machine.

Try to render using other codec. I've got the same error sometimes rendering in Quicktime H264. If this is what you need, send the composition to Adobe Media Encoder for H264 encoding. If not, try to render using any of the image sequence presets or even changing the codec in the Output Module.
