Hi,

How would you do this?

Capture d’écran 2017-06-14 à 22.26.53.png

Capture d’écran 2017-06-14 à 22.25.56.png

I mean: the 2 strokes on the left/right, justified on the text block width and delimited by (variable) text.

You could use a Center Justified Tab and and Right Justified Tab at the far right, both with with an Underscore Leader.

I thought about this tip and have already tested it [ it totally works fine!  😉 ]

… But I don't want add something to the text.

You don't want to add anything to the text in the bottom frame?

Or you don't want to add anything inside the frames over the picture?

Wouldn't it be OK to set tab+variable+tab in the frames over the picture? I suppose not, would be too easy, but it worth clarifying.

Salut Vinny,

https://indesignsecrets.com/topic/somewhere-lost-in-the-universe

Hey Obi.

Looking great! Can you explain your trick?

Here's mine. I know you have figured it out already, but some might be interested in it:

Salut Vinny,

I don't know if this will help, because it's still adding something. I like it better than Tabs because it will adjust to any width Frame automatically.

Use Justify All Lines for Paragraph Alignment with Flush Space before the type and another Flush Space After the type.

You could use a Nested Style (with an Underscore Character Style) to apply the Underscore before and after the type to the .lush Spaces.
