master with some pages not in 1 line

hi!

i wand to built a document that gonna be a poster that i can Furl. therefore i want to build a master that have 8 pages. i want the first 4 be on top the last 4 pages.

how can i do it?

to build a master with 8 pages i know, but how can i can change them to 2 lines?

Of course, you can have several lines on spread up to 8 single pages, you can create them as well as master as you can do with pages and you can apply a master on such a spread as I have done in the screenshot. I filled it with different colors so you can see easily the relations between master and pages:

  1. Bring all needed pages into one spread. Turn off  page and spread shuffling in the page panel's menu.
  2. Use the page tool and move them together as you need them.

Do you mean you need to print these pages as tiles? If yes, please check this link: Print thumbnails and oversized documents in InDesign. ​If I misunderstood you, please elaborate your question with some screenshot, as how you want your document.

i want build something like this but that it will be 9 pages and not one that seperate with guides..

i know i need to add pages to the master.. but than i dont know how to continue..

how can i do this in sqaure? and not in line?

You can do 3 side by side by turning off Pages/Allow Document Pages to Shuffle, but I don't know how you can get the next to rows of 3 pages to butt up against. You may be better off creating Artboards in Illustrator to do this.

Or just create a file (in InDesign or Illustrator) that is already the final size. You can tile the pages when you print as per Omnath, or speak with your printer about how they would like you to handle it.
