Dear All

I've made a banner for an exhibition in 532cm x 202cm in Indesign, but when I export it for print (Acrobat) the print file is missing 30cm of the right side. I can't see how to change it when I save to print but the final PDF some how cuts off 25cm. Any ideas why?

Thanks Sara

The maximum size of a PDF is 200 inches by 200 inches:

Beware 200" Limit for PDFs - InDesignSecrets : InDesignSecrets

532 cm is over 209 inches.

Banners typically are created scaled down from their final size. Check with your banner printer but they should be able to scale it up to the final size.

Hi Steve

Now I have this issue again as I need to create a Banner that is 700cm x 155cm. I'm wondering if I should create a smaller banner in In Design and ask the printer to Scale it? OR can I create the original size in InDesign and then Scale down when I save the print file?

Best Regards Sara
