I have a few users that have updated to Adobe DC Standard DC 2015 release, these are the only users it is affecting.

Users will open a document from the network drive and sometimes the document name is scrambled with seemingly non English characters.  Also when the document is opened, the numbers have changed to different numbers, and some numbers to symbols.  If the same document is opened in Adobe Reader, everything will display correctly, also the document (name and contents) will display fine about 1 of every 10 tries with Standard DC 2015.

Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi joelf46151490,

As per the issue description mentioned above, when opening a pdf in Adobe Acrobat from a network drive, document name is scrambled, as well as numbers changes to symbols, but this is not the case when same file is opened in Reader, is that correct?

Could you let us know the version of Acrobat installed on the machine?

You may refer to this link for the same: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Does this also happens when opening a pdf file stored locally on the computer(not from network drive)?

Also, would it be possible if you share the pdf file with us? I have sent you a private message for the same.

Awaiting your response.
