Arabic Glyph Issue

Hello All!

While using the Noor_e_Quran font, I've been having issues with the Hamza character in InDesign (and Illustrator as well). It shows up as shown below:

However, in MSWord it shows up properly.

Any ideas on how to remedy this?

You can adjust it by Diacritic Positioning.
Window → Type & Tables → Diacritic Positioning

Thanks for responding. The issue I am having isn't really with the Diacritics.

It is this strange "line with and x" that appears every time I write the Hamza character.

Whereas in the glyphs it shows up properly without the "line with and x"

Clearly it is a buggy font. See simple test, many issues on Mac.

Maybe it's a font bug, where did you find it?

It was given to me may years ago. It always worked fine in Word but now in InDesign it has this issue.

I think the bugs in your font version, because the same font works correctly with me.
And the GID of Hamza in set of this font is 16 and 53
And its Unicodes are: 0621 and FE80

I guess you maybe right, would you be able to message me the updated font? I got this one many years ago for a project and have no idea where to get the updated one.
