Nikon D700 and D5 files are dark when imported into LR5 [was: frog]

I have a Nikon D700 and D5 and photos are LIGHT and beautiful in camera until I import them into LR 5 then they are so dark and its alot of work

Hi froggy,

Please check that you have not selected any develop preset on the import window while importing the images into Lightroom.
