Apologise if this is simple, but I'm new to epubs and playing with page sizes.
I have built a multipage document, landscape, 1024 x 768 pixels, to save as a fixed layout epub.
I want to make one page deeper, 1024 x 970, which I hoped would appear as the same width as the others, allowing a reader to scroll down to see the rest.
The page was created, along with a master of the same size. I applied the master to the page.
Exported to fixed layout epub, and opened on both iBooks on iPad and Chrome/Readium on Windows. The bottom of the page is clipped off at 768 pixels and I can't scroll down to see the rest.
Is what I want to do possible? If so, what am I doing wrong?
Not possible like that.
What you could try is to turn that content into a scrollable frame and do it that way.

Thanks Bob, I have signed up for their newsletter and am awaiting the extension. Will report back if I succeed.
While we are on the subject of possibilities, I am on the verge signing up for your Lynda course on multistate objects. Just to be sure I am on the right track... I want to build an ePUB hamburger menu with a dropdown list of about 15 options, and about 10 of those options will have their own dropdown lists of 8-12 options. Is such a thing possible using multistate objects or will I be biting off more than I can chew?

Bob, have been playing with the extension and think it will work perfectly for me. Thanks again.

It’s a great little extension and the price is certainly right.

Sure. That’s definitely doable.
