InDesign Freezing

My InDesign CC 2017 (the latest version) is locking up when I try to add or delete pages. Any fix?

Please check if the same thing is happening with other files or new files?

If yes , please reset preferences for InDesign

None of these recommendations worked. I even had my husband try who is a network engineer for a major university.

The preferences were deleted as instructed and InDesign still crashes. I am so incredibly frustrated.

In order to look into the issue, we would like to understand few things from you that would be helpful.

Which Operating System are you working with?

Is it the issue with InDesign CC 2017 or CC 2017.1?

Is it happening with a particular document? Or does it happen with every document you create or open in InDesign?

Is the document you are trying to add of delete pages stored on a network location?

Is it intermittent or happens consistently?
