Accidentally did not save my file

Is there any way to recover? Why isn't there an autosave anymore?

There was never an autosave. There is a recovery if the application crashes but that's not what happened here.

You close the file and said no to saving it. Sorry but your file is gone.

And always make regular external back-up copies.
