flash player outdated

For some reason I cannot update flash player in Google Chrome. I have tried all the fixes they suggest to no avail. Please Help. I'm using Windows 7

Hi there, I tried all of the fixes they suggest and it still says outdated and will not work. I've uninstalled, reinstalled , nothing works.

Hi,

What version of Chrome is installed in your machine? What version of Flash Player is installed? To get the version of Flash Player go to Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows 7 and earlier page and click on Check Now button.

Flash Player version 26.0.0.131 is the latest version of Flash Player available in the market. Could you please post a screenshot of the page where you are seeing an update that your Flash Player version is out of date.

Is Flash Player enabled for your machine? To check the same you can go to Adobe - Flash Player page and see if Flash content is being loaded.

this is what I see when I go to the components page and click on check for update

Status - Component not updated

Check for update

As my ridhijain  mentioned, 26.0.0.131 is the latest version.  There is no new version to update to at this time.

I tried all of the fixes they suggest and it still says outdated and will not work.

What does 'will not work' mean?  Is Flash not working on a specific site? If so, post a DIRECT link to the site it's not working on.

I like to play a game by  Zynga on Facebook. That is when the symbal for the flash player being blocked comes up.Everything I have read says that when Flash Player is not up to date it will block it. I have tried all their fixes to unblock to know avail.

please try the following:

• Launch Chrome
• go to chrome://flags/#prefer-html-over-flash
• this flag is most likely set to 'Default'
• change it to 'Disabled'
• reload the browser

Does Flash work in the game?
