Gradient tool angle

Hi,

My gradient tool only allows a vertical left to right angle.  No matter what I set the angle at, there is no change in the angle.  It says 45 degree angle, but there is no 45 degree angle.

I'd try restoring your InDesign preferences:

Trash, Replace, Reset, or Restore the application Preferences

Where can I find the reset? I do not see it under preferences.
