So I'm giving projection mapping a go and I plan on using mecury preview for my projection screen. However instead of editing on the screen and looking at the projection, I'd like to edit directly on the full screened projection.
Is there a way I can edit in the mercury preview?
Or is there a way to have my camera1 panel completly full screened and editable... (~ does full screen but has the bars at the top and bottom, which I don't want projected)
Or simply a better way to do project mapping..

I don't understand this part. If you adjust your composition size to match your projector's output, does it not behave correctly when you move your composition window to the projector?

The goal was to edit directly on the projection screen instead of the computer screen: The composition would still have the editing tabs at the top and bottom if I just shared the screen.
I have infact worked out a way to edit on the actual projection: using OBS to screen capture the editable section and stream it to the projector. Though I have not tried it yet and it might not be very practical.

I see what you're saying.
What are you trying to do that you can't do while working on your computer screen and using Mercury Transmit to preview the projection?
