How to shoot Tethered to Lightroom with Canon and no memory card...

When I tether to Lightroom with canon 5d mark iii, it only transfers images when I have a memory card. The load times with the memory card are too long, and I need the images instantly. I see no reason to have the memory card in when I am tethered to a computer, which is my memory card.  When I launch the tethering option, it recognizes the camera, and I can control the camera via Lightroom and trip the shutter. However Lightroom doesn't recognize that a photograph was taken.

Long story short, I want to tether my Canon 5d mark iii to Lightroom with no memory card in the camera due to load time.

Then there has to be a way to get it to load faster. I'll shoot fashion photos at a rate of 1 photo every 2 seconds, and it takes 10 seconds for 1 photo to show up. Thus making the clients who are watching the photos come through super far behind as the shoot progresses.
