Adobe Acrobat for iOS "forgets" the last page viewed?

Usually when I read a PDF from the Document Cloud in the Acrobat app (using it on an iPhone 5s), it will remember the last page viewed the next time I open the PDF.

It will occasionally forget the page, however. For instance, I may have stopped reading on page 72, and the next time I open the PDF, it's on page 1. (This probably happens 1 out of every 10 times.)

The last page viewed seems to sync correctly with the desktop versions of Acrobat. This "forgetfulness" only appears to occur in the mobile version.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Hi Midwestmike,

We apologize for the delay in response to your query.

I hope this issue should have resolved so far after adding the latest patch to the application.

As explained above, so I assume that might be a temporary issue.

You may update the Acrobat Reader application to its latest version and see of that helps.

Go to App store>Acrobat Reader> Install update(if its pending)

This should help, and let us know if it doesn't.

Regards,

Akanchha

Hi waynec51716275,

This is a new problem in Acrobat 17.11.30.  We are actively working a fix for the problem.

We will let you know once we have the new version of Acrobat Reader containing the fix is made available in the App Store.  Unfortunately, it may take some time for the new version to appear in the App Store due to slowdown in the Apple app review process for upcoming holidays.

Thank you for your patience.
