Importing foreign language

I have a document that was created in English. I am now attempting to import a Polish translation from a Word document into this English version to use the type formatting settings that have been established. The problem is that it is dropping some of the characters on import. How do I change the language for the document or download the Polish type face if that is what is needed?

Not all fonts have the characters (glyphs) to do an Eastern European language like Polish. They may only support Western European languages.

You need to find a font which supports those glyphs.
