InDesign application- and document window position and size problem

Hi there!

Every time when I start up InDesign, the the application- and document window is not placed in the left corner of my screen, resulting that the right side of the document window is under the panel dock. So every time I must adjust the place and size of this window. Very annoying!

This problem happens with Application Frame on or off.

I’ve made a new workspace but that did not solve the problem.

As a test I’ve rebuild the file InDesign Defaults located at <Username>, Library, Preferences, Adobe InDesign, Version 12,0, <Language>. That also did not solve the problem.

Does anyone recognize this problem and maybe has a solution?

My system:

iMac 2013 27"

OSX Yosemite 10.10.5

Adobe InDesign CC 2017.1 v12.1.0.56

Try resetting your InDesign preferences:

Trash, Replace, Reset, or Restore the application Preferences

I’ve shut down ID and renamed the files InDesign Defaults and InDesign SavedData. After the restart and rebuild of these files the problem remained.

I’ve decided to reinstall ID. Problem solved.
