I get "lightroom stopped working" when I am in the slideshow module. I upgraded to 10.1 to try to resolve the problem with no success. It fails with or without music.
I have not created a slideshow since i upgraded form Lightroom 5 to CC. I tried to go back to LR5 but my new collections are not available.
Creating Slideshows is the primary reason I use Lightroom. Please HELP Graphics processor is not selected in preferences. OS is Windows 7 with service Pack 1.
Here is the event log.

Hi,
I looked into it. It looks like your OpenGL library is crashing. Could you check if there is an update to your Display driver?
Also, could you share your Display Graphics Card details?
Thanks,
Smit Keniya

Can this be a data related problem?
Here's what I've done today.
The slide show I am trying to create has about 380 images which area mix of
cr2, jpg, and Tiffs. They are a collection with the actual images in
several different folders, all on the same external hard drive.
The failure is reproducible and consistent if I pick the same range of
images and fails on the same frame. However the actual frame that the
failure occurs on is specific to the range., A different range fails on a
different image. Excluding those images from the range still results in a
failure - on a different image.
However, I selected about the same number of images from a single folder
with only CR2 images and was able to successfully play the slide show. I
did not try to save it and I did not try other data sets. I also did not
repeat that experiment.
Can the fact that I am selecting images from a collection instead of a
folder be significant? Can the mixture of cr2, jpg, and tiffs be causing a
problem?

Sharon
