Annoying start of photoshop

When I run a photoshop and I'm working on several monitors and programs, I'm very annoyed by the startup routine. Photoshop several times forcefully switches itself as the main program. I'm working on another program, and photoshop pops up, I switch back, after a while photoshop pops up again. It is VERY annoying. Is it just me? I'm working on a PC, it's the same thing on Windows 7 and 10. Can you change that?

Nope, it is not just you.  Lots of people have complained about it, and there is a thread on the feedback site about it.  Adobe promised to look at it, and fingers crossed it will be fixed with the next major update, but even then, don't hold your breath.
