Synchronize folder deleted the folder from disk

Hi all,

I for the first time used the 'Synchronize Folder' option as I was trying to resurrect all the greyed-out photos during the import.

The folder disappeared from the hard disk after I clicked the 'Synchronize Folder'. Please someone help me to restore the folder.

It is not in the recycle bin either.

What is your OS and exact LR version?

LR does not remove folders.

Please describe in more details what you did and what you were trying to achieve.

What exactly do you mean with 'greyed-out' photos? During import, already imported photos are greyed-out by default to not import them a second time by mistake.
