Hi all,

My standalone version of Lightroom 6.9 wont upgrade to the latest 6.10.1 as it thinks it is already up to date.  Below is a screen shot of when I run Help -> Updates from the menu:

I have downloaded the 6.10.1 patch and tried to run it manually but it says that the patch is not applicable to me:

I uninstalled Lightroom, ran the Cleaner and then reinstalled it again (version 6.0).  After checking and installing updates, it is now running version 6.10.1.  Not sure what the problem was with the previous installation but I've got past it now.

Thanks for the assistance.

Sometimes signing off and back in helps to detect.

Otherwise download directly from here: Download Photoshop Lightroom

I tried signing off and back in but unfortunately it made no difference.  I had already downloaded the patch directly and tried installing it but as I said in my initial post, it fails saying "This patch is not applicable for you".

I guess the only course of action left is to uninstall, run the Cleaner tool and reinstall again.

Before removing and reinstalling, please try if it helps to reset the preferences: http://lightroom-blog.com/2015/05/23/resetting-preferences-in-lightroom-cc6/

Thanks for the tip.  I reset my preferences but still get the same error when trying to update via Help -> Updates or manually trying to install the 6.10.1 patch.
