I just got After Effects CC 17 and Media Encoder and I finished doing a project I go onto composition and click Add to Media Encoder Queue. After it loads up, I click on the green button and at the bottom the status bar goes blue and it says "connecting to dynamic link" and right after it disappears I get a yell warning sign next to my composition and it says failed. This is what is gives me when I click on "failed". Any help will be greatly appreciated!

There might be some overly zealous security app or setting blocking the connection between AE and AME.

Try rendering to an intermediate codec out of After Effects' render queue (something like Cineform, DNxHD, or QuickTime with the Photo-JPEG codec) and then bring that file into AME to make your MP4.
