Audio fails little when exporting a project

Hi Community,

I edited my project and it is ready to be exported.

When I render it and watch it in Premiere Elements 12 everything is as intended - audio and video.

In the rendered version there is always at one part a short almost deaf moment of my audio, which after around three seconds fires up to normal. When switching between MPEG and AVCHD this faulty cut just moves to another audio cut scene.

In the audio lane there is one 7min track, consisting of different parts. At one of the switches between these parts occurs the problem.

All audio is denoised. And again: While watching in PE all audio is fine.

I hope somebody gets my problem, which I can't explain any clearer. And is then able to help me.

Kind regards
Attila

What operating system do you have? Is it the 32-bit or 64-bit version?

What processor do you have? How much RAM?

How long is your video project? Is this the only project this issue has appeared on?

What model of camcorder is your original video shot on? What format and resolution is this video?

Hi Steve,

and thx for your fast repsonse.

i am running on Win 10 64-bit. Powered by an i5, 4 x 2.8 or something like that. 8 GB RAM.

The project runs 7:03. On another project of 9:56 nothing comparable appeared, also not on shorter stuff.

The original video data comes from a Fuji X-E2 and it feeds 1920 x 1080 Px in .MOV-files.

As said, nothing like that appeared before.

MOV files sometimes don't trigger the program to set up its project properly.

When you first added your MOV video to Video 1 on your timeline, was there a yellow orange "render" line above the video? This is an indication that your project is not properly set up for your video.

Hi Steve,

yes there are a few of those yellow lines. What to do to avoid this to happen?

I also have an example online for my problem, when following the link jump to 4:45 and then just listen.

1966 Humber Imperial - YouTube

I tried to work around by adding the audio track a second time, exported again and the similar s*** occured on another audio cut scene.

Now I'm going to newly arrange all the audio tracking. But I would still be very glad, if you might help me somehow.

Thanks alot

Attila

Your project is not setting up properly for your video.

MOVs can be composed of any of hundreds of codecs. In order to proceed, we'll need to crack open your camera's video and find out what it's composed of.

Download the free program MediaInfo and open your MOV in it. Set the View menu to Tree and then copy and paste the data it reports to this forum. Then we'll be able to recommend your next step.

Is Apple's Quicktime installed on your computer?  MOV files are related to Apple and Premiere Elements used to need Quicktime for the MOV codecs. Supposedly, Quicktime is less needed in the current version than it used to be.  But, with version 12, you will likely need it.

Hi.

Yes, Quicktime is installed. Version 7.79.80.95

And if I am right the whole support ended somewhen this year.

May I have to "join" PE and Quicktime in one way or another?
