Hi,
I just installed After Effects cc v2017.2 on my computer and tried drag assets into the composition window. I would then get an error message to this effect:
After Effects error: Crash in progress. Last logged message was: <2068> <Bee_Misc tasks> <5> Set Artisan Task: Classic 3D
I've been dying to use AE for years. The company that I work for has graciously given us access to the entire Suite. Now, I can't even use it. I would be very grateful if someone can help resolve this problem.
Thanks in advance.
This is my computer info:
Try dragging them in to the project panel and see if you have a different result.

What kind of assets are you trying to drag in? Does AE crash if you try dragging them in to the Project Panel?

Hi,
There are only 3 assets that I've tried to put into the Composition panel:
1. an MP3 file 2. an MP4 video file and 3. a PSD logo. I went out and
bought the Adobe After Effects CC Classroom in a Book (2017 release) and
downloaded the asset files from their website. Simple files, not too big or
anything. I'm very determined to make stuff with AE but can't even get off
the ground. It's hard to believe that Adobe isn't aware of this. Needless
to say I'm very frustrated!
Thanks,
Rama
