Lr 2015.10.1 - New error in the Map module - A really annoying one

The map goes "offline" and goes black for a second or two EVERY time you pan or zoom the map.

I use the map module every day and this error is new and really annoying.

This error/problem has been reported by many people already and IIRC a bug report filed over at the Photoshop family web forum site.

It takes quite some time. Wonder if someone is working on the problem and if we will hear a "Yes, we found the problem and we are working on it"?

I can tell you that the issue is known and was caused by a change at Google.

A fix is being implemented and will be available in a future release, probably the next.....
