Lightroom Freezing on Import

Apologies if this has been asked before - but after the latest update Lightroom freezes when I try to import images.

I am running the latest CC version - 2015.10.1 under Windows 10 (latest version).

I have tried unchecking the "use GPU" box; & I have tried disconnecting the internet connection first - problem persists.

Hi Bernie,

As your Lightroom is freezing on import, could you please let us know the location of the files you are trying to import?
Have you tried resetting the preferences of Lightroom? How to set Lightroom preferences
