I just updated my iOS to macOS Sierra 10.12.5. WHen I tried to open Photoshop, i got the error "Licensing for this product has stopped working." Error: 150:30.
An online search led me to Error: "Licensing has stopped working" | Mac OS
I began working through each step in order as advised on this webpage.
Step 1: no resolution.
Step 2: I get the following error in terminal:
File "/Volumes/LicenseRecovery 11.6.1/LicenseRecovery/LicenseRecoveryLauncher.app", line 1
SyntaxError: Non-ASCII character '\xfe' in file /Volumes/LicenseRecovery 11.6.1/LicenseRecovery/LicenseRecoveryLauncher.app on line 1, but no encoding declared; see http://python.org/dev/peps/pep-0263/ for details
Can someone address this for me? I am unfortunately not a coder.
It's not the app you have to run, that was for OSX 10.6 and under. You must run the Python (py) script.
Here's a screenshot example of how to do this. Look it over and carefully follow the steps.
