Error with RAW-Images

Hey guys,

I just got the CC complete bundle for one year and tried to open .awr & .raw images in Adobe Lightroom CC 2015.

Every time I try to import one of the images it says that these formats are not provided by lightroom. To open the images in Photoshop is no problem at all.

Could you give any assistance? I've been searching the web for about five hours now and nothing works for me.

I am using Lightroom version 10.12 [5].

Thanks in advance

Julian

You need to upgrade your LR so version Lightroom CC 2015.2 (for standalone users you need 6.2) or later. Download the update from Download Photoshop Lightroom

Please quote the exact unedited word-for-word error message.

Please tell us the exact camera make and model.

Please clarify the Lightroom version number, go the Help->System Info and report back the exact Lightroom version number

the .arw files are from the Sony Alpha 7sII and the .raw files from the Lumix g70/g81.

The word for word error message is in german, so it won't help you that much. It basically says that this RAW format is not supported by lightroom.

Lightroom: CC 2015 [1014445]

Version: 10.12 [5]

Is that correct?

A friend of mine was able to open the files, so it should actually work.

Thanks in advance for the kind help!

I receive this error message:

I am the only administrator. What can I do?

I am on Mac OS X 10.12.5.

I just found the "AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat" and deleted it. This did not work actually...

OK. Sorry I don't have other suggestions.

You're unfortunately the first person I've encountered for whom deleting the AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat file did not work.

Seems like there's someone else in your position too

Can't update to newest Lightroom

This is very frustrating for everyone, especially when we cannot get any official Adobe assistance on the issue.

The AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat file worked now!

But now I have got a new error (which I attached)

It's in German but basically says that this update does not fit for me.

I have Lightroom CC 2015 installed and tried to update to 2015.10.1

Any suggestions?
