Resolve fonts window is blank, documents won't open

Hi There,

I have a weird issue when trying to open a document. Clearly there are fonts missing but the 'Resolve Fonts' window is blank and it freezes the opening of the document - I see the following no matter how long I leave it...

Is there a way to force After Effects to open the document first, before resolving fonts?

Or does anyone know why the Resolve Fonts screen is blank?

Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.

For a brief second the font window seems to display a blank blue button but clicking it (assuming I'm being quick enough) does nothing.

I can't see any preference regarding missing fonts so I hope there's a solution - I'm using the latest update.

When was the last time this document worked?

Have you installed any fonts recently?

Thanks for the reply, the documents have come from an overseas supplier so I haven't opened them before. I use Suitcase so I've definitely activated/deactivated fonts but that shouldn't cause the AE Fonts window to freeze though right?

Have also restarted the Mac etc.

Suitcase has been known to cause problems like this one.
