Loading up Actions

Hi, I'm currently using Photoshop CC and I'm experiencing difficulties loading up actions.

I got a free disk with a practical photography magazine where they have bundled up free actions. I have completed this process a number of times but this time when I navigate to the folder on the disc, there are no " actions " showing. When I view them directly on the disc, they are there and have the correct file type, i.e. .atn

Can anyone please help!

Are you loading them from the Flyout menu in the Actions panels?

They will not show if you go to File > Open.

Also, just in case try moving them off the disk. Put them on your Desktop and try again.
