Pentool and Vertex Lag.

Pentool / Vertextool Lag. (while holding ALT) - YouTube

The Video pretty much shows the whole problem.

But the pentool legs everytime i hold ALT to alter the point i have made.

I just  downloaded and updated to Creative cloud (CC) version and i simply cant work with this issue.

Not sure what you are asking.  It has never behaved differently.

In the 2015 and 2015.3 edition its all normal and good, i have reverted back atm, but it is not a permanemt solution : (

If your older versions behave differently from the newer version, please file a bug report and give Adobe as much information as you can about your system and what's happening.

Before you do that though, what happens if you turn off the "Hardware Accelerate...Panels" option in preferences?

On another note, turning off Hardware accelerration didnt work.

Also tried Setting it to CPU only

Updating Nvidia Drivers

and changing Viewer quality and Fast previews in preference.

and the lagging issue is still a thing.

Last note is that 2015.3 has the problem aswell, and only clean 2015 does not. so thats what im runig now...

PS my hardware is the following

i7 4770k´Non OC

GTX 1070 - Zotac Extreme amp

32GB Ram - Corsair vengance 1600 mhz

500GB SSD - Samsung evo

That's weird; it's normally CC 2015 that is the buggiest!

Hopefully the issue gets fixed in the next update.

this could be a bug. let me ask you this: why do you Hold the Alt key? you only have to click with it pressed for millisecond and release right after.

Currently still facing it yes. and can't seem to find any solution other than going back to the 2015 version not the 15.3 but just 15, all other versions seem to have the lag.

is there an alternative way to do the pentool vertex point puller without holding ALT

because it could be an old bug and maybe no one is using that shorcut anymore so noone notice.

i wanna use 2017 but this lag just kills the joy sometimes : (.

and offcourse i will go back time to time to check if anything have been fixed (whenever updates comes aorund)
